Can anyone identify this bird?

I must say, it was very kind of this bird to so elegantly pose for me in profile. What a ham (the other white meat).

This bird was looking for food the day after the remnants of Hurricane Hanna blew through the New York area. As a result of the storm, migratory birds were forced down and the bird-watchers were out in full force in New York's Central Park.
