Students Hard at Work at the Cooper Square Starbucks, NYC (May, 2004)

This is in the Cooper Union area of New York City's fabled East Village. Across the street (not visible) is Cooper Union College. The area is also home to several NYU dorms which is not far away, as are several other smaller colleges & universities. Down a few blocks to the right is the world-famous, now defuncked CBGB's rock club. Partly visible is St. Mark's Place, the well-known home to NYC's youthful counter-culture (Photo Taken on 05-01-2004).
