Proud Bird (NYC, August 2008)
For some reason, this is one of my most popular animal photographs. I'm not sure why that is -- as I believe that I have far better animal photos posted on Flickr (including photos of other peacocks and birds). None-the-less, thank you!
... And so I've decided to re-post this photo, but in this case, I've faded the background so that the peacock can stand out more clearly (no other retouching was done).
This proud bird was spotted in 2008 at the Central Park Children's Zoo in New York City.
